Terms for Credit Purchase

Credit pre-payment, described here, is a funding method for accounts payable and procurement teams who prefer to pre-fund a balance rather than pay per charge.

What is Tallyfy credit purchase?

Credit purchase enables you to pre-purchase a certain dollar value of credit, which is then applied against your Tallyfy usage. You can think of it as funding a bank account, which is drawn down as services are used. You need to maintain a backup billing method (a credit or debit card) for over-use, but your billable usage deducts from your credit balance. Use credit purchase if any (or all) of these situations apply:

  1. Your company operates finances via an accounts payable or procurement department, and purchasing in bulk is preferred, due to the costs/burdens associated with payment reconciliation.
  2. You have negotiated a bulk user or enterprise deal with Tallyfy, and wish to pay for that.
  3. Credit cards are either not available for company use - or a debit/credit card purchase is neither possible, permissible or suitable for say, large transactions.

How credit pre-payment works

You pre-fund a US Dollar balance, and Tallyfy draws it down as your seat subscription, add-ons, and invoices come due. Your purchased credit is applied first, before any card is charged. These are the terms.

  • One balance, drawn down over time. As seats renew or you buy more, and as add-ons are billed, the cost comes out of your pre-funded balance instead of hitting a card each time.
  • Discounts on larger purchases. For credit purchases above $5,000 we can offer a discount. The more you pre-fund, the larger that discount can be.
  • Credit lasts 5 years. Unused credit stays on your account for 5 years, so there is no pressure to spend it quickly.
  • Simple to administer. One payment and one reconciliation, rather than many small card charges to match line by line each month.
  • Credit applies against all Tallyfy seat fees and any current or future add-ons.
  • Credit is non-refundable once purchased.
  • Credit purchases are payable by wire transfer or ACH to our US bank account, in US Dollars only.
  • Keep a valid card on file as well, so your service keeps running if the balance runs low.
